As a leader in the financial and home warranty industry
Surprisingly, Finn has taken very little credit for the success of the company and instead, has chosen to spotlight her dynamic management team and their hardworking employees as the primary reason for their tremendous success. Perhaps this way of thinking is what has made her the recipient of a number of awards including a position as one of the 'Top 10 Women in Business'. She has also been heralded as heading one of the 'Top 10 Women Led For-Profit Businesses in Florida'.
Finn is a believer in open communication and a strong proponent of the mentorship program. Once a week she meets with her upper-level staff members for a 'no business' lunch session. They spend this time discussing things on a more personal level, and this practice has dramatically increased the level of trust amongst the company leadership.
Concerning staff members, they are always offered the opportunity to gain additional knowledge and skill through training sessions, which allows them to have opportunities for promotions and sizeable bonuses. Staff is family at the company and the higher ups enjoy mentoring the staff to help them achieve their greatest levels of achievement with the company. Having recently created an addition 100 jobs in their call center, has given more staff members the opportunity to take new people under their wings, thus letting them know they are needed and appreciated.
This type of relationship occurs on a daily basis and fits in nicely with Cross Country Home Services and their firm belief in a core value system. They take care of their partners much like they take care of each other, and this company is a shining beacon of light in an otherwise tough business world.
