Consumer electronics using lightFrom the remote control of the TV to the digital display, there are LEDs.In recent years, LED lights are also available for indoor lighting in homes and businesses.One of the potential benefits associated with LED lights in all of these applications is to reduce energy consumption (see ref 1, page x ).Diodes are directional semiconductor devices.They contain two sandwich layers that connect two kinds of semiconductors.The p-Type semiconductor materials produce electronic defects or \"holes\" by removing weak binding valence electrons \".The n-There are too many electrons in semiconductor materials.At the junction between two floors, from n-Type layer inflow p-Type layer, in n-Type side and negative power on P-Type side, it opposes further current.Connect the positive terminal of the voltage source to p-Type side and negative terminals with n-The Type side allows the current to flow through the LED.The recombination of holes and electrons releases some energy in the form of visible light.LEDs glow in a narrow wavelength range, so they usually produce color light.White-However, LEDs are one of the most important in indoor lighting, and they usually shine blue or UV light on a special coating, which will be re-developedSome of this energy is emitted in the form of visible light.Other types combine blue, green, and red LED chips to produce overall white light;These may be more energy efficient than phosphorus-Coating Types, although they are more complex.(See ref 1, page 1-2) according to the regulations of the United StatesS.The Energy Star program of the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy, LED lights are likely to emit more light than fluorescent or incandescent lights.They estimate that 90% of the energy is generated by incandescent lamps;The compact fluorescent bulb is more efficient but can still generate 80% of the heat.The LEDs release a small amount of heat generated into the radiator behind the diodes.Unlike one-way LEDs, incandescent lamps and fluorescent bulbs not only produce most of the energy as heat, but also scatter light in all directions.This one-way provides an additional energy-saving effect because the traditional bulb in the recessed socket wastes half of the light generated by scattering it back into the recessed socket if it does not provide any lighting for the room.Design led with brightness control to allow dimming when users need less light (see refs 1, page 6 ).According to US media reportsS.Doe, the rapid adoption of LED lighting by 2027 can reduce the demand for lighting power by up to 33% (see reference 2 ).Good design, however, is important;Poorly designed LED lights have a short life span and require more frequent replacement, reducing energy savings (see ref 2 ).
