If it is needed and budgeted for, then you have more possibilities for creativity.
Your needs for plugging in large appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers, as well as smaller utensils, such as toasters etc. will determine the amount of power point sockets that you need.

Tip 7: Appliances and sink choice; Bet on good quality appliance even at rental properties. The cheapest appliance will cost you twice or three times over in order to replace them within 2-3 years. Mid or high end appliances will last longer.
Right handed people prefer a sink that is left drained and visa versa. This is worth bearing in mind.
Tip 8: Kitchen ergonomics; Practicality is everything within a kitchen and so it is important that there be a logical layout based around your food preparation process.
It would make sense to include a food preparation area next to your cooker with a sink nearby; you don't want to have to carry dirty plans a long way.

Tip 9: Fitted kitchen baseline units; Careful planning of units will ensure that there is enough room to house all of your kitchen pots and pans. There are numerous storage options available. 'Magic Corners' add to the cost, but could be a good option for those with limited space available.
Tip 10: Hiding boilers; Exposed boilers can ruin a new kitchen design. You can disguise it by encasing it within a matching kitchen unit. With the budget you can also consider moving the boiler out of the kitchen altogether.
The moving of a boiler is a complicated process and would need full discussion before going ahead with. Disguising the boiler with matching units or false walls could be a better option.
