what is the difference between 5050 and 3528 led strip lights?

There are a lot of things to consider when installing led strip lighting, including length, number of LEDs per meter and color temperature. The other is the chip size. The size of the led you are purchasing can be determined from the product description or specification. There are two main LED sizes for LED light strips to choose from;5050 and 3528.The obvious difference between the two LEDs is their size.5050 means the LED size of 5.0mm by 5.0mm, while 3528 represents the LED size of 3.5mm by 2.8mm.When you buy LED lights, you will be able to physically see the difference in size. The Led is welded to the upper part of the solar lamp, similar to a small yellow square. You will notice that 3528 LEDs are much smaller than 5050 LEDs.However, the difference in this size is not the only issue worth considering.Larger LEDs also produce more light.Deciding how bright your led light needs you to ask yourself a few questions, including where I\'m going to use them and what I\'m trying to achieve? When your light bars need to compete with the background environment, it is recommended to use brighter LED light strips, such as you use them in your kitchen or bathroom as part of a layered or indirect lighting scheme.Another good example is the storefront display, and the owner still wants the lights to remain visible during the day.The 5050 LEDs are brighter and therefore suitable to meet the challenges of such lighting schemes. For most other applications, such as the club in the dark and the outside, 3528 LEDs should be enough. The 5050 LED also uses more power than the 3528 LED.LED Strip lamps with more power supplies require a large power supply, also known as Transformers.Your choice of LED may be affected by the transformer size you want to purchase, especially if you want to reduce the cost of purchasing.Standard Transformers manage loads from 90 to 100 W.Make sure that the LED you choose will not exceed this load. Finally, the larger 5050 LEDs cost more.It\'s really more practical than other considerations, and hopefully now you can understand why it\'s worth paying more for larger chip sizes. It is also worth noting that the rgb LED emergency light can only be used in the 5050 LED because the 3528 is too small to accommodate the required color changing components.
